Workshop: Using the Mind / Body/ Energy Connection for Healing
Your counseling staff will leave this workshop with a framework for understanding the mind / body / energy connection. The body holds our past traumas and psychological blocks. When we learn how to speak the language of the body, we learn how to more dynamically support our clients. This will help your staff to utilize knowledge about a client’s physical experience to support their psychological functioning.
Your counseling staff will also be provided with body-based and energy-based techniques to shift blocks within the body, opening up more possibilities for psychological breakthroughs and trauma release, both within and outside of the therapeutic session. This framework, along with these techniques, can be added to existing therapeutic modalities.
Depending on the time of this session, I may close with a meditation to bring energetic balance to your staff members. This workshop will last between 45 and 60 minutes.
