What is Karma?
Karma is not about religion. It is not about being nice. It isn’t simply, “what goes around comes around.” Karma is an energetic mechanism that shapes our human experience. Our human experience is based on the karma we are carrying. Our psychology is the expression of our karma.
How is our psychology the expression of our karma?
We are feeling the emotions we are, because of our karma. We are thinking the thoughts that we are, because of our karma. We are attracted to the people we are attracted to, because of our karma. When I say karma, I am speaking to a full range of energetics that impact our human experience. This includes the choices our ancestors made, the choices our souls made in past lives, and the choices we made in this current lifetime. We are at a pivotal point in our collective consciousness, where we have access to our karmic information. By bringing this information into our awareness, we can see the patterns, and make choices in this dimension to change those patterns. In the field of psychology, we focus a great deal on thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I believe that the underlying factor we are missing, is karma. Karma contributes to our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In this way, our psychology is the expression of our karma.
Why would we want to change our karma?
We can consciously shift our human experience, by consciously shifting our karma. We can actually move and overcome the karma that is binding our energy, and contributing to our struggle. When we shift karma, we can overcome the thought programs that may have been limiting us our whole lives (and even in our past lives). When we shift karma, we can come through the darkness and heaviness of painful emotions. We can step into an understanding of where emotional patterns originated, and make choices that allow us to pivot out of old patterns, and into a new experience. When we shift karma, we can free ourselves from toxic relationships that are not serving our highest good. When we shift karma, we can begin to step out of the shackles of the human experience, and into the fullness of who we are. By shifting our karma, we open ourselves up to new karma, which unlocks the potential of a different human experience.
Is Karma bad?
Karma is just part of the human experience. When we understand it, karma is a tool and a teacher. There is no good karma, and no bad karma. We can never completely overcome karma, because in every choice we make, we are creating new karma. Once we understand karma, we can consciously create the karma we want. This is very important in the manifesting the lives we want.
By uncovering karmic patterns, we can learn about ourselves at the deepest level of who we are, beyond simply this lifetime. We can understand the dynamics at play within us, and within our relationships, so that we can use every moment as an opportunity to express the karma that creates the experience we desire in this lifetime. Understanding karma, is an opportunity.
